10 LAUREATE AWARDS to be DESIGNATED :​

​

Every Laureate will have his winning and submitted music featured together with the Painter's or Sculptor's work in an Art Movie to be created after the Competition by Composers for Beauty. This movie will be on permanent display for the general public during a 2-week Composers Event to be held in Oslo, Norway later in 2024. The movie will also be broadcasted in streaming mode via our websites and on a dedicated Laureate Page of this contest website.

1 FIRST LAUREATE AWARD:

'AMOR ARTIUM' GRAND AWARD 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful qualities in all combined aspects of Music Composition, and that adequates the best with the associated Painter's or Sculptor's work of Art.

WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART 'MELODIA' AWARD 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful melodic qualities.

JOSQUIN DES PREZ 'CONTRAPUNCTUS' AWARD 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful counterpoint.

PIERLUIGI DA PALESTRINA 'POLYPHONIA' AWARD 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful counterpoint.

GEORG FRIDERICK HAENDEL 'HARMONIA' AWARD 2024​

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful harmonic qualities

 

LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN 'FORMA' AWARD​ 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most beautiful formal and structural qualities.

IGOR STRAVINSKY 'RHYTHMICA' AWARD 2024

This Award will be granted to the composer whose submission will have the best and most engaging rhythms.

Given to 3 more Laureates whose composition excelled in Beauty and quality too.

1 SPECIAL PUBLIC AWARD

Granted to the composer whose submission will have the highest number of Instagram users having posted positive comments on our channel about his composition - as counted untill just before the day of Proclamation

1 VOICES OF THE YOUTH SPECIAL AWARD

The Voices of the Youth Special Award will be awarded based on deliberations of the Jury Members belonging officially to the Jury Subpanel ‘Voices of the Youth’. This special award will only be granted to Contestants still under the age of 18 Years at the time of the Submission Deadline specified in the 2024 Theme page of this Contest website.

 

The decisions of the Jury will be final and without appeal. 

Every Laureate will receive the given Notes and Comments issued by the Jury concerning their winning composition.
